![]() But, most importantly, they can hate out mana abilities. ![]() They also have the benefit of being flexible and hitting a lot of different angles. I'd hate out her activated abilities with Linvalla, Cursed Totem, and Phyrexian Revoker first off. ![]() Removing Selvala is all well and good, but if you can stop her from doing anything you'll have a much better time. The cEDH primer does list some of the things that makes the deck cry a little under the "Matchups" collapsible.įrom it, we can see that ], ], ], ] (and by extension, ] and ]), ], and ] are all major impediments to Selvala's gameplan. While the deck your opponent is running isn't quite the cEDH list (since they're running Vorinclex and Eldrazi), they still pose a huge threat and should be running a relatively similar list all things considered. Fun deck to make and my first combo oriented one.The best way to beat Selvala is to ask Selvala how to beat them. Best case is usually temur sabertooth with selvala and another infinite piece to go with so either wirewood symbiote or lightning greaves and then a genesis hydra for 100 to grab anything you need and then you bounce it back to do it again. My deck will win by getting large or infinite mana and either using my draw cards that are play creature draw card to try to continuously draw into more creatures to play and eventually hit some mana sink or crashing drawbridge and greaves or something to reliably draw deck. If she is your commander you can build around her in fun ways like playing an early game worldspine wurm to be up 15 mana next turn. Not CEDH or anything but built to be powerful. Alright my man, I have recently made a selvala deck with her as the commander and it is pretty fun.
